Canine Partners is a progressive charity which aims to transform the lives of people with disabilities ("partners") enabling them to lead more independent lives by providing them with highly trained assistance dogs.

A Canine Partner willingly offers companionship, unconditional love and a sense of security and support which are all essential to human health and well-being. In the process of learning to care for and manage their dog, a Partner experiences a sense of achievement and purpose which helps in building self-esteem, self-confidence and motivation.

Our dogs can dramatically improve quality of life for a Partner, opening doors to a more independent life and greater employability. A Canine Partner encourages social interaction acting as a catalyst for conversation whilst increasing awareness of and empathy for disability needs in the community.

Puppy parent families and foster homes needed for our cuddly, smart puppies.

We have puppies (8 weeks and older) ready and waiting to be loved and trained for at least 6 months.

If you are keen to have one of our puppies share your life and family, please give us a call today!

In class and at home, you will learn what it takes for this bundle of happiness to turn into a fully trained and qualified Canine Partner.

We provide food and equipment for the puppy and cover all veterinary costs while the puppy is with you. You provide the love and the puppy provides the fun and games!
