Here owners can get well informed advice and learn the basics of understanding and training their puppy. A great introduction that leads into our Puppy Training Classes.

Puppy Training Classes

This class is for puppies 18 weeks and over. We all know puppies are gorgeous, they are also very clever!! Common problems such as pulling on lead, not coming back and jumping up can all be prevented. So lets get it right from the start!

Pet Obedience Training Classes

Our obedience classes are taught using reward based training methods and we encourage the use of treats, toys and both vocal and physical praise. We do not use Check/Choke chains. We do not teach competition obedience but focus on commands and situations that will enable you to have a socially acceptable, happy and well behaved dog. Our classes are extremely popular due to the fun and friendly atmosphere in which they are taught, therefore spaces are limited.
To ensure your place in any of our classes, don't hesitate to call!

Individual Training

Practical demonstrations and informed advice by Lorraine or Rosie on a one-to-one basis is beneficial if your dog has behavioral issues or you need advice on specific problems. some owners may prefer instructions customised to their pets needs. for your convenience we can make home visits as well as consulting at our Training Centre.

We can advise owners whose puppies have not yet received all their vaccinations. we'll give you the opportunity to discuss topics such as house training, chewing and mouthing. We can also begin recall, lead work and basic obedience commands with your new puppy. No matter what the age or breed of your dog, it will be our pleasure to help and advise you.

Clicker Training

This is a revolutionary new training method that can be taught to ALL dogs regardless of age or breed. The essential difference between Clicker and other reward based training methods is that the dog is told exactly which behavior earned a reward. This information is communicated with a distinct and unique sound, a click, which occurs at the same time as the desired action. The reward then follows. Clicker training is extremely rewarding for both dog and owner alike. come give it a try!
